Hardscape
We offer a large variety of travertine and paver types and colors, as well as an alternative natural, lower-cost hardscape material. Our hardscape is always installed on top of high-quality compacted material, not sand. The edges are precisely cut as well as physically set on to a bed mortar so everything is locked together and tight. Our underlayment is so stable and hard it can be hardscape itself. This is not typical in our industry; Instead the standard is a contractor will throw sand on top of the ground, compact the pavers or travertine into that sand, and then run a curved ‘dam’ of mortar along the sides of the hardscape’s edge. With this technique the mortar cracks open and that sand washes away with rain and use. The hardscape becomes loose and moves. The result is undulation, unevenness, and open spots which are all unsafe and unattractive.
My yard looks amazing, and I love to show it off to my friends.
Softscape
We are known for landscapes that are full of color and yet require a low amount of maintenance. Our plant knowledge is unmatched in our industry. Our staff includes two Master Gardeners (University of Arizona Cooperative Extension), and we hold two (2) Desert Botanical Garden certifications. We place the right-sized plant in the right place (too much or too little sun). The result is more plant bloom, healthier plants, and a landscape that uses less water because plants are sized correctly (not overgrown). The maintenance costs are less because clients don’t have to cut or prune plants to make them fit in their yard
Desert Glow Landscape’s guidance on the plants was much appreciated.

A delustering additive to reduce fiber sheen. An engineered, 3-dimensional cross section to improve aesthetics and resiliency, and approximately 40% more individual fibers per square foot than typical artificial grass products.

Water Features
Our expertise and artistry in water feature construction for the Arizona desert started over 15 years ago when we received certification as an AquaBox® installation company. These systems enable us to build stunning water features that ‘behind the scenes’, automatically fill with water. The pump, connectors, and water itself are all under-grade protected from the blazing sun. They are about as low a maintenance water feature system offered. No rubber lining or cement sides. No algae blooms.
Desert Glow Landscape (Vox Construction) remodeled both my front and backyards and I couldn't be happier.
